Global Fulfillment Operations Specialist / Full-time / Taiwan

Job description

You’re the global fulfillment expert at Wooting. You thrive on optimizing processes and finding cost-effective solutions, ensuring our operations are efficient and our customers are satisfied. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, sourcing new fulfillment/shipping partners, communication, cost negotiation, billing review, shipping optimization, volume planning, and creating fulfillment-specific SOPs.

During your monthly review of fulfillment operations, you notice a spike in shipping costs from one of our fulfillment centers. You immediately dive into the details, analyzing shipping volumes and partner performance to identify the root cause. After investigating, you discover that recent changes in courier rates have significantly impacted costs.

You coordinate a meeting with the fulfillment partner to discuss the rate changes and negotiate better terms. Simultaneously, you explore alternative couriers and conduct a cost-benefit analysis to ensure we get the best rates from the fulfillment partner without compromising delivery times. You also update the cost documentations and inform the operations manager.

You continue the work on a volume planning strategy for the upcoming holiday season, analyzing forecasted sales and current stock levels across our fulfillment centers. You identify a potential conflict in the arrival date at Hong Kong warehouse and cut-off dates for holiday inbound. You immediately communicate with the operations manager and logistics coordinator to discuss solutions.

A new product release is around the corner, you collaborate with the packaging team to design more cost-effective shipping carton for the new product and work with the fulfillment centers to implement the new packaging solutions. Your proactive approach and attention to detail helps streamline operations and reduce costs across the board.

In your role, you also assist colleagues with fulfillment-specific items, leveraging your expertise to improve processes and solve complex problems. You take pride in continuously enhancing our fulfillment operations, ensuring we meet our delivery estimates while maintaining cost efficiency.
